Pensée pour ce matin :

It is written :

“Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14)

(Philippiens 3:13-14)

Let us forget our past failures, let us forget what is behind. Let us leave all this, all our past life. Let us not forget that we were sinners and that our sins have been erased by the blood of Jesus, but let us forget all that happened yesterday, in the past. What should interest us now, it is, what is the before us, the goal.  Let us run toward the goal, to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus.

We know that this prize, this call of God, it is the communion with Jesus, His Son, it is to be found alike to Him: this is the prize!

About Jacques Guillard

It is not that I have already obtained it or already reached the goal — no, I keep pursuing it in the hope of taking hold of that for which the Messiah Yeshua took hold of me.
