Pensée pour ce matin:

It is written:

“So then, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us, too, put aside every impediment — that is, the sin which easily hampers our forward movement — and keep running with endurance in the contest set before us, looking away to the Initiator and Completer of that trusting, Yeshua — who, in exchange for obtaining the joy set before him, endured execution on a stake as a criminal, scorning the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1-2)

As we are fixing our eyes on the Messiah, let us restore His True Identity. He is the Jewish Messiah Yeshua, our Lord, “The Beloved Son of God”.

For too long, too many, have tried to erase the Jewish identity of the Messiah Yeshua, our Lord, and have made many stories about His Birth, His Life, His Death, to fit like a hand and a glove with the stories of the gods of this world, to make it possible for an easy conversion of their followers to “Christian doctrine”.

For example:

December 25: The celebration of December 25th goes all the way back to ancient Babylon. It was originally a Pagan festival to celebrate the birth of Chrishna, of India; Mithra, of Persia, born on December 25, before 1500 BC; Horus, of Egypt, born on December 25, before 2500 BC; Buddha, of India, born on December 25, 563 BC; Osiris – EGYPT, before 2500 BC.

The celebration of Christmas December 25th was done to convert a Pagan Festival into a “Christian” Festival.

Those gods are only few examples who were used to distract us from the TRUE Identity of our Jewish Messiah Yeshua whose mother Miryam was engaged to Yosef, before they were married, and was found to be pregnant from the Ruach HaKodesh (The Spirit of God).

The Birth of the Jewish Messiah Yeshua, our Lord, happened in order to fulfill what ADONAI (YHWH), the God of Isra’el, our God, had said through the prophet (Isaiah 7:14), and not in December 25. The Jewish Messiah Yeshua was probably born during the Feast of Tabernacles (September-October)

Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord IS NOT a mythological person like the Norse god Odin, the Greek god Zeus, or the Roman god Jupiter, He is the Son of ADONAI (YHWH) the God of Isra’el our God.

Easter: is a description of an ancient Babylonian family—2,000 years before the Messiah honoring the resurrection of their god, Tammuz, by Ishtar (after whom the festival was named).

Easter is not found in the Bible; the name of Easter and the traditions surrounding it are deeply rooted in pagan religion.

So again, the celebration of Easter was done to convert a Pagan Festival into a “Christian” Festival.

Let us instead CELEBRATE Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord, as our Passover Lamb.

Sunday: “The day of the sun”.  The merger of pagan and papal Rome, produced doctrines that are hard to identify with the Bible and even contradict it.  Many of the teachings and institutions of the pagan religions were incorporate into “the church”, and among these was the Sunday festival.

Once again the pagan philosophy was taken to make the pagan Sunday the Christian Sunday, and thus the pagan Sunday, dedicated to Balder [the god of light and peace], became the Christian Sunday, sacred to “JESUS”.

Yeshua the Messiah who is the Living Torah, has NEVER transferred the Shabbat to Sunday.

The early Believers in Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord, had at first adopted the Jewish seven-day week.

And if Yeshua the Messiah is Lord of Shabbat (Matthew 12:8), then “the Lord’s Day” is Shabbat not Sunday.

Let us obey God’s commands and bear witness to Yeshua as we are to keep the Shabbat, to observe Shabbat through all generations as a PERPETUAL COVENANT(Exodus 31:16).

Trinity: The doctrine of “Trinity” owes more to Greek philosophy and pagan polytheism than to the monotheism of the Jews and the Jewish Messiah Yeshua, our Lord, who is “The Beloved Son of God”.

“Sh’ma, Yisra’el! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, Isra’el! Adonai our God, Adonai is One] (Deuteronomy 6:4) (Mark 12:29).

ADONAI (YHWH), the God of Isra’el, is our ONE TRUE GOD. Let us have no other gods before HIM (Exodus 20:3).

As for me, Believer in the Jewish Messiah Yeshua, our Lord, His God [ADONAI (YHWH), the God of Isra’el], is my God, His People is my people.

There is no safety in accepting tradition.  Our only safety is in the Scriptures themselves.

Shabbat Shalom

About Jacques Guillard

It is not that I have already obtained it or already reached the goal — no, I keep pursuing it in the hope of taking hold of that for which the Messiah Yeshua took hold of me.
