It is written:
“Eliyahu stepped forward before all the people and said, “How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow him; but if it’s Ba‘al, follow him!” The people answered him not a word.” (1 Kings 18:21)
Barux Hashem for Mount Karmel ! It is the place where a question was raised (1 Kings 18:21) and still can be raised today: “How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions?
Today, let us be challenged by the same question: To whom do we want to please, God or men? If ADONAI (YHWH), the God of Isra’el, is our ONE TRUE GOD, let us FOLLOW HIM !
Let us not have our hearts be divided, ADONAI (YHWH), our God will have ALL or none.
Times are short, we have to choose between the ways of GOD and the ways of Men. We cannot live now in the status quo without doing anything.
ADONAI (YHWH), God of Avraham, Yitz’chak and Isra’el, is our One and Only True God, and we are His servant (1 Kings 18:36). There can be but One God, One infinite, One Supreme, One Omnipotent, One All-Sufficient (Deuteronomy 6:4). ADONAI (YHWH) is Great, there is no one like Him, and there is no God besides Him (2 Samuel 7:22). There is no need for addition to that which is Perfect !
Let us keep firmly in our heart that Shabbat is a sign between ADONAI (YHWH) the God of Isra’el, our God and His People through all generations (Exodus 31:13) (Ezekiel 20:20); and ADONAI (YHWH) has only One People, One Isra’el, made by His Grace, of Jews and non-Jews, through the blood of His Beloved Son, the Jewish Messiah Yeshua, our Lord.
Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord, did not come to start a new religion (Yeshua is a Jew and was a Rabbi– He is the Jew who Saved my life), so in our union with Him, let us follow the Torah of ADONAI (YHWH), the God of Isra’el, His God and Father as He did, out of Love for Him.
In fact, Yeshua (The Living Torah of God) did not come to overthrow the Torah, but to give it Life and confirm it even more!
Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord, lived a life of absolute surrender to ADONAI (YHWH), the God of Isra’el, His God and Father, so let us also live a life of absolute surrender to ADONAI (YHWH), our God, who is living in us by His Spirit (The Ruach HaKodesh).
Grace and Shalom to you from God our Father and Yeshua the Messiah our Lord.
