It is written:
“For the goal at which the Torah aims is the Messiah, who offers righteousness to everyone who trusts.” (Romans 10:4)
Few days ago this verse of the Bible was posted on Facebook. Yes, the goal at which the Torah aims is the Messiah, but He is not the end of the Torah. We have forgotten that Yeshua HaMashiach, our Lord, the Living Torah, lived the Torah, taught the Torah, and we have walked away from the Torah.
Yeshua the Messiah never taught us to break the Torah and the commandments, as even Himself said: “whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.” (Matthew 5:19).
Let us not think that Yeshua came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets, for He came not to abolish but to complete (Matthew 5:17). He did not come for the Torah to die; He came for our flesh to die!
Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord, delivered us from the curse of the Torah but not from the Torah itself. Praise God!
While Yeshua the Messiah has removed from us the curse of the Torah, He has not removed from us the Blessings of the Torah. Let us follow His example in keeping the Torah of the Spirit.
ADONAI (YHWH), the God of Isra’el, our God, was pleased, for His righteousness’ sake, to make the Torah great and glorious (Isaiah 42:21); and we know that the Torah is good, provided one uses it in the way the Torah itself intends (Timothy 1:8).
The Torah of ADONAI (YHWH) is Perfect (without defect), restoring the inner person (Psalm 19:8). The Rulings of ADONAI (YHWH) are true, they are righteous altogether, more desirable than gold, than much fine gold, also sweeter than honey (Psalm 19:10-11).
Which brings me to the following: “ADONAI, why do you let us wanders from your ways and hardens our hearts, so that we do not fear you?” (Isaiah 63:17). ADONAI (YHWH), God of Isra’el, our God and Father, hear our prayer, we have sinned before You. Have compassion upon us and upon our children. May Your Torah be written in our hearts, so we may follow in the footsteps of Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord, who came to do Your will.
As for us, through our union with His Beloved Son Yeshua, ADONAI (YHWH), our God, made the Covenant with us to put His Torah within us and write it on our hearts (Jeremiah 31:32(33)). The Torah is for today!
Let us restore the path of Torah so we can be a force for good, and proclaim Liberty through the “Jewish Messiah Yeshua”, to those in spiritual captivity.
“SHALOM ALEIKHEM !” to ALL who belong to the Jewish Messiah Yeshua, our Lord.
