It is written:
“A person may plan his path, but Adonai directs his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)
Following Yeshua HaMashiach, our Lord, requires a change in our plans. We must relinquish our desire to plan, scheme, and insist on our way through daily surrendering our life.
The true issue at the center of the “whose plans do I operate by”: man’s thoughts or YHWH’s thoughts?
While our Salvation is secure through our union with the Messiah Yeshua, we still struggle constantly giving up our plans for YHWH’s plan; for His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We must daily fill and focus our mind with YHWH’s thoughts, including His plans for our life. YHWH, our Elohim and our Father, is “The One” who knows what plans He has in mind for us, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that we can have Hope and a Future (Jeremiah 29:11).
As for me, I fully recognize that “The Hebrew and Jewish Messiah Yeshua” is the Promised Messiah and in my union with Him I attach my Hopes and dreams to YHWH, the Elohim of Isra’el, our Elohim and our Father, knowing that YHWH is in the business of changing our plans to His plan, resulting in something much better than we could hope for.
The benefits of keeping YHWH’s thoughts in our focus also include less grief when we experience a change in plans, as we live with Hope, knowing YHWH’s best is coming because it is His plan we are now living.
So let us focus on YHWH’s thoughts, which spared us the stress of worrying about things that are outside of our control.
In our union with Yeshua HaMashiach let us depend on YHWH, His Elohim and Father, the same as He did, as we are subject to the direction and dominion of YHWH our Elohim and our Father.
Let us plan our path so as to make YHWH’s Glory our end and His Will our Rule; then we can expect that He will direct our steps by His Spirit (The Ruach HaKodesh) and Grace, so that we shall not miss our way nor come short of our end.
Let us have our eye upon YHWH, not only in the great turns of our lives, but in every step we take.
“Shalom Aleikhem!” to ALL, Jews and non-Jews, who belong to the Hebrew and Jewish Messiah Yeshua, our Lord. May YHWH,the Elohim of Isra’el, our Elohim and our Father, and our Lord Yeshua direct our way.
