It is written:
“Who is a God like you, pardoning the sin and overlooking the crimes of the remnant of his heritage? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in grace. He will again have compassion on us, he will subdue our iniquities. You will throw all their sins into the depths of the sea. You will show truth to Ya‘akov and grace to Avraham, as you have sworn to our ancestors since days of long ago.” (Micah 7:18-20)
In Isaiah 42, we have the Covenant Yahweh, the Elohim of Isra’el, our Elohim and our Father, made with and the Comission He gave to the most righteous of all men, Yeshua HaMashiach, who became the final atonement for all generations who accept His sacrifice on their behalf: “Here is my servant, whom I support, my chosen one, in whom I take pleasure. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the Goyim…” (Isaiah 42:1).
Let us give to Yahweh, the Elohim of Isra’el, our Elohim and our Father, the Glory of His Pardoning Mercy.
As Yahweh’s children, through our union with the Messiah Yeshua, we have our spots, and often offend our Father. Our Gracious Elohim is ready to pass by and pardon our iniquity and transgression, upon our repentance and return to Him.
Yahweh’s People are a pardoned people, and to this WE OWE OUR ALL. When Yahweh pardons sin, He passes it by, does not punish it as justly He might, nor deal with the sinner according to the desert of it.
Though Yahweh may for a time lay us under the tokens of His displeasure, yet He will not retain His anger forever, but though He cause grief He will have compassion; He is not implacable; yet against those that are not of the remnant of His heritage, that are unpardoned, He will keep His anger FOREVER.
The reasons why Yahweh pardons sin, and keeps not His anger forever, are all taken from within Himself; it is because He delights in Mercy, and the Salvation of sinners is what He has pleasure in, not their death and damnation.
As for me I have experienced Yahweh’s pardoning Mercy and cannot but admire that Mercy; it is why I have reason to stand amazed, for I know what it is.
Has Yahweh forgiven you your transgressions?
Shabbat Shalom to ALL, Jews and non-Jews, who belong to the Messiah Yeshua: It is good to acclaim Yahweh, the Elohim of Isra’el, our Elohim and our Father, to sing His Praise, to affirm His Love each morning, and His Faithfulness each night.
