It is written:
“But he was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises we are healed. We all, like sheep, went astray; we turned, each one, to his own way; yet Adonai laid on him the guilt of all of us.” (Isaiah 53:5-6 Complete Jewish Bible)
It is our iniquities and sins that separate us from YHWH, the Elohim of Isra’el, and prevent us from establishing or maintaining a close relationship with Him. We are all guilty before YHWH. We have all sinned: we all like sheep went astray; we have turned to our own way (Isaiah 53:6).
YHWH is our Rightful Owner; we have alienated ourselves from Him. We have gone astray like sheep, and are unapt to find the way home again, unable of ourselves to return to Him.
Instead of walking obediently in YHWH’s way, we have turned wilfully and stubbornly to our own way, the way of our own heart, the way that our own corrupt appetites and passions lead us to. We have set up for ourselves, to be our own masters, our own carvers, to do what we will and have what we will.
As we enter the Passover season, let us prepare our hearts and lives to put away old sins and guilt and embrace the Forgiveness and Freedom that Yeshua HaMashiach offers us in Him.
The Messiah Yeshua was appointed and did undertake to make satisfaction for our sins and so to Save us from the penal consequences of them. He was appointed to do it, by the will of YHWH, his Elohim and Father.
YHWH, the Elohim of Isra’el, chose the “Hebrew and Jewish Messiah Yeshua” to be the Instrument of our Salvation, for us poor sinners and would have him to Save us, Jews and non-Jews, in this way, by bearing our sins and the punishment of them, for the maintaining of the Honour of the Holiness and Justice of YHWH, our Elohim and our Father.
It was YHWH’s Plan for redemption through the sacrificial death of Yeshua HaMashiach on the Roman execution stake; to bear our sins in his own body, to be nailed on a stake and executed as a criminal, to be pierced in his side, to be dead and buried for us.
Yeshua was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). It was for our good that Yeshua HaMashiach suffered.
The blood of the Messiah Yeshua was shed to restore us to Right Relationship with YHWH, the Elohim of Isra’el, and to completely cleanse us of any trace of a guilty conscience , so we can serve YHWH, our Elohim and our Father (Hebrews 9:14).
Shabbat Shalom to ALL, Jews and non-Jews, who belong to the Messiah Yeshua. Let us proclaim YHWH’s Love for Israel and to all those who are seeking for Him, as Yeshua’s sacrifice was meant to restore fellowship with YHWH, our Elohim and our Father, upon a person seeking to draw near to Him, sincerely repenting of their sins.
