It is written:
“He said to them, “This is my blood, which ratifies the New Covenant, my blood shed on behalf of many people.” (Mark 14:24 Complete Jewish Bible)
The Messiah Yeshua’s death and resurrection made it possible for every person to be Redeemed from sin and begin a new life as YHWH’s child.
Yeshua HaMashiach was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises we are healed. We all, like sheep, went astray; we turned, each one, to his own way; yet YHWH laid on him the guilt of all of us (Isaiah 53:5-6).
While we were still helpless, at the right time, the Messiah died on behalf of ungodly people. YHWH, the Elohim of Isra’el, demonstrates His own Love for us in that the Messiah died on our behalf while we were still sinners (Romans 5:6,8).
Yeshua died for us “the ungodly”, guilty sinful creatures, and therefore deserving to perish; unworthy of such Favour with YHWH, the Holy Elohim of Isra’el. Being ungodly, we had need of one to die for us, to satisfy for guilt, and to bring in a righteousness.
Though we were dead in our trespasses and sin and so undeserving, in an unparalleled instance of Love, YHWH reached out to us and offered us Eternal Life through His Beloved Son, the “Hebrew and Jewish Messiah Yeshua”; herein YHWH’s thoughts and ways were above ours.
As the blood was an essential element of the first Passover, it reveals the role that Yeshua the Messiah plays in our personal Salvation.
Since we have now come to be considered righteous by means of Yeshua’s bloody sacrificial death, how much more will we be delivered through him from the anger of YHWH’s judgment! (Romans 5:9)
Our union with Yeshua HaMashiach, assure us that when YHWH judges the world, we will be Saved by the blood of the Lamb as we put our Faith in the Messiah Yeshua and the blood of Redemption; YHWH will again “pass over” us.
Yeshua HaMashiach is the “Resurrection and the Life”! Whoever puts his Trust in Him will live, even if he dies; and everyone living and TRUSTING in him will never die.” (John 11: 25-26)
“SHALOM ALEIKHEM !” to ALL, Jews and non-Jews, who belong to the Messiah Yeshua. Wishing you a Joyous, Blessed Passover. Let us be once again overcome with gratitude for all that Yeshua suffered for on our behalf.
